John’s Industries provided the complete 9” Ford rear with a 3.73 gear and our new finned Buick brakes for this youth project. The Street Rod Foundation is reaching out to our community and the street rod community to help us guide today’s youth through a series of street rod projects. This project is called the Educator. The “Educator” series will be build by students from several schools (i.e. high schools, career centers and colleges) in Michigan area. The “Educator” series will be highlighted at different venues (i.e. car shows, community events, etc.) throughout the build process. After building and showing the cars from the “Educator” series, these soon-to-be-well-known street rods will be auctioned off and the profits given back to the Educational Institutions and to the students that have participated in the project in the form of grants and scholarships.
